Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and EmailLabs, operating EmailLabs("we", "us"), governing your use of our website, dashboard, and API. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for your account, your API keys, and all activity under them. Keep credentials secret and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

• You must provide accurate account details and keep them current.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• One person or entity may not operate accounts to evade limits or bans.

3. Acceptable use

You may only submit addresses you have a lawful basis to process. EmailLabs is a deliverability tool, not a list-building tool.

You agree not to:

• Use the service to send spam or facilitate unsolicited messaging.
• Harvest, scrape, or enrich addresses you have no right to hold.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or rate-limit-evade the API.
• Upload unlawful content or infringe anyone's rights.

We may suspend accounts that breach this section.

4. Plans & billing

EmailLabs is priced as monthly plans, not one-time credits. Pick the plan that matches your monthly request volume and it renews automatically each month.

• No commitment — you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; changes take effect from the next billing cycle.
• Go over your monthly quota and extra requests are billed at a small per-request overage rate shown on our pricing page.
• Risky or undetermined results are refunded to your usage — you only pay for conclusive checks.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider; taxes may apply based on your location.

5. Service & SLA

We work to keep EmailLabs fast and available and publish target metrics such as uptime and latency. Verification returns a best-effort assessment — we're honest about uncertainty and never guarantee that any single verdict is correct.

Any formal service-level commitments apply only where stated in a signed agreement.

6. Intellectual property

We own EmailLabs, including the platform, software, SDKs, and documentation. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service — nothing more.

You may not use our name or marks without permission, except to factually describe your integration.

7. Your data

You keep all rights to the addresses and content you submit. We process them only to deliver the service and do not store the addresses you verify or the results we return — that output stays on your side. Details are in our Privacy Policy and DPA.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, put the service at risk, or fail to pay.

On termination, your right to use the service ends.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is"without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that results will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll give reasonable notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive authority over any dispute arising from these Terms.
